Manufacturing Expertise Across Every Skincare Format

Many manufacturers can fill an existing product.

Fewer have the technical capability to formulate and manufacture across the full spectrum of modern skincare formats.

At Imaginelle, our formulation, production and quality teams work across everything from traditional emulsions, creams, lotions, serums and oils through to anhydrous balms, sticks, waterless formulations and emerging product formats.

Each format presents its own technical challenges. Whether it's emulsion stability, active ingredient compatibility, thermal stability, crystallisation, graininess, texture refinement or packaging compatibility, we consider how every formulation will perform not only in production, but throughout transport, storage and real-world consumer use.

The result is skincare that maintains its integrity from the laboratory bench through to commercial scale.

Switching Manufacturers Without Disrupting Your Brand

Our team specialises in supporting brands through technical transfer projects designed to minimise disruption to supply, product quality and customer experience.

We work closely with brands to:

  • Transfer existing formulations

  • Validate manufacturing processes

  • Assess packaging compatibility

  • Maintain product consistency

  • Protect intellectual property

  • Support inventory transition planning

For many brands, changing manufacturers becomes an opportunity to improve communication, quality systems and long-term scalability.

THE cosmetic manufacturing
process

Inital Consultation

Contact our team to begin the cosmetic manufacturing process.

We start with an initial consultation and product brief to understand your product concept, formulation requirements and production goals.

The brief typically includes product type, target market, ingredient preferences, packaging format and projected production volumes.

This allows our team to assess the scope of development and manufacturing requirements.

STEP 2—
Project Scoping

Following the initial consultation, our team reviews your product brief and defines the development and manufacturing pathway.

This stage establishes the scope of formulation development, testing requirements, packaging considerations and production timelines.

Clear project scoping ensures the development process is aligned with both product performance and manufacturing requirements.

Formulation Development & Testing

Our in-house cosmetic chemists develop and refine formulations designed for performance, stability and commercial manufacturing.

Samples are produced in our on-site laboratory for evaluation and feedback.

Where required, testing may include stability testing, preservative efficacy testing (PET) and packaging compatibility assessments to ensure formulations perform reliably in production and distribution environments.

Packaging & Compatibility

Once formulations are approved, we support the sourcing and validation of packaging.

Our team works with a network of packaging suppliers and assists with packaging selection, artwork dimensions and compatibility with manufacturing equipment.

Packaging compatibility testing ensures components perform reliably throughout production, transport and storage.

Following final approval of formulation and packaging, production is scheduled at our GMP ISO 22716 certified manufacturing facility.

Products are manufactured using controlled batch processes and undergo structured quality control checks throughout production.

Our quality team and microbiologists conduct testing to ensure products meet our manufacturing and safety specifications prior to release.

Once production and quality checks are complete, finished products are prepared for shipment.

Products can be delivered directly to your warehouse, distribution centre or logistics partner, supporting a smooth transition from manufacturing to market.
